The funeral for fallen Chicago Police Officer Krystal Rivera was held Wednesday afternoon, after she was shot and killed in the line of duty earlier this month.Rivera, 36, born and raised in the Humboldt Park neighborhood,

Rivera, 36, had been a Chicago police officer for four years when she was unintentionally shot and killed by a fellow officer during a foot chase in Chatham on June 5.

Mourners, including police officials from across the state, started to arrive before noon at Living Word Christian Center in Forest Park for the funeral of Chicago police Officer Krystal Rivera.
