Shubhanshu Shukla was officially welcomed on ISS by Axiom-4 crew with hugs and warmth. Axiom-4 mission commander Peggy Whitson gave astronaut pin to Shubhanshu Shukla, who has become 634th astronaut to travel to space.

The four astronauts were welcomed with warm hugs and handshakes as the Dragon spacecraft docked to the orbital laboratory after a 28-hour journey around Earth

Visuals show that soon after hatch opened, the astronauts entered the ISS and were seen celebrating their safe arrival by hugging and smiling at each other. The spacecraft, named Grace, achieved a soft capture with the space station at 4:01 pm IST over the North Atlantic Ocean.
