A 28-year-old Massachusetts man who died days after initially surviving a plane crash last week was set to be married when he died.

The victim was seriously injured in a single-engine plane crash which also took the pilot’s life Thursday morning in Beverly.

The crash was reported Thursday shortly after the plane took off from Beverly Regional Airport, about a block away from the crash site, official said.
